The Anatomy of a True Friend

All of us want to meet a true friend that we need. But only a few get the chance to meet someone who will stick by us without any doubt.

A true friend is made up of…

Head that thinks rationally about things, never judges and always thinks what is best

Eyes that see the goodness in your soul clearly and accept who you are

Ears that listen to what you have to say without interrupting

Mouth that never speaks ill about you as a person and gives you a handful of advice or scolding whichever you needed

Arms that comfort you during sadness and gives you a hug every time you need it

Hands that hold you tight especially when you are going to have an Arterial Blood Gas test

Heart that loves you purely and true and gives without expecting anything in return

Feet that always go along with you wherever you want to go

Melissa Sy, MD… You’ve come a long way. This one’s for you. I miss you. I would have been a MD like you had not for some circumstance in my life. You go on ahead, I’ll follow. I’ll cheer for your board exam.

Lots of Love,

Jaques
